About Sean Higgins
Sean Higgins is a licensed realtor with RE/MAX Professional Realty Group here in Owensboro, KY. Beginning as a Private First Class and ending as a full Colonel, he retired from the US Army after nearly 31 years. Sean then leveraged his leadership skills with a fiber-optic telecommunications company in Evansville for three years, but wanted to refocus his energies here in our community. Over the course of his career, he and his wife, Anne, moved 15 times and owned 8 homes. Sean is effectively utilizing those personal experiences to benefit his growing real estate clientele.
Sean grew up in Hopkinsville, KY and graduated from the University of Kentucky before joining the Army. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, traveled all over the country, and saw a good bit of the world. He and Anne moved to Owensboro in 2003 and, with the exception of a few years in Germany, have made this town their home. They have raised 10 children and are now the proud grandparents of 6. One son served in the Peace Corps; three sons are now on active-duty military status, two daughters are Registered Nurses with Owensboro Health, one daughter is a Registered Dietician who runs a thriving cookie business (Molly’s Mixins); and their youngest three children are at various stages pursuing their college educations.
Sean likes to say that his values were learned at home and he brought them with him to the Army. Among these values are respect, honesty, and integrity. Sean is optimistic about the future of our nation and our community – and the opportunities offered to all who are willing to set goals and work toward them. His wife Anne is the owner of Willow and Pine European Market in downtown Owensboro, a beautiful home décor store. Sean looks forward to serving you, and asks you to
